[:tr]Fakültemiz bünyesinde gerçekleştirilen ve bu yıl 4.sünün düzenlendiği Kocatepe Mühendislik Bilimleri Öğrenci Sempozyumu’na bölüm olarak katılım sağlamış bulunduk. 16.05.2025 tarihinde Maden oturumunda bölüm öğretim üyelerimizden Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Aslı KARABAŞOĞLU’nun Kırıkkale ve Kastamonu bölgelerinde yer alan fosillerin özelliklerini, Maden ve Petrol İşleri Genel Müdürlüğü’nde görev yapan Dr. Behzat Gökçen Demir “Maden Mevzuatı Kapsamında Yerbilimleri Mühendislerinin İstihdam Şekilleri” isimli ve benzer şekilde MAPEG’de görev yapan Selçuk Bostancı’nın ise ”Madenlerin hayatımızdaki yeri, Ekonomiye Katkısı ve TÜRMES Projesi ile sürdürülebilir madencilik uygulamaları” isimli bildirilerini sunmuşlardır. Kongre düzenleme kurulu üyelerine ve bölümümüzden katılım sağlayan hocalarımıza teşekkür ederiz.
[:en]Our department participated in the 4th Kocatepe Engineering Sciences Student Symposium, which was held within our faculty this year. On May 16, 2025, during the Mining Session, Assist. Prof. Dr. Aslı Karabaşoğlu, a faculty member of our department, presented a paper on the characteristics of fossils found in the Kırıkkale and Kastamonu regions. In addition, Dr. Behzat Gökçen Demir, who serves at the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs (MAPEG), delivered a presentation entitled ‘Employment Models of Geoscience Engineers within the Scope of Mining Legislation’. Likewise, Selçuk Bostancı, also working at MAPEG, presented his paper titled ‘The Role of Mining in Our Lives, Its Contribution to the Economy, and Sustainable Mining Practices through the TÜRMES Project’.
